Great manga, terrible act. No one should murder in the first place, but then to link it devilishly to a manga/anime just puts all of us trustworthy people under scrutiny. I hope they catch the sick bastard.

that was kinda gross ... only the lower part of the body was found??? ... the person who did this does not distinguish fantasy from reality ... Death Note is a good anime that makes people think, it does NOT condone killing ... actually, the reverse is true ... one should not kill another person even if the other person is a criminal ... this I believe is one of the main message of this anime ... I hope justice will be done for the poor soul, and may they find his upper body and be buried together.

That was a horrible failure at an act to give Death Note more notoriety then it already has.

That sicko is one clever p**** if he gets caught he can now cover his ass by saying the anime made him do it! Theres no way he could be a real psycho if it's that premeditated the fact that he spelled it wrong is the big give away the cops will see through it I wonder if the jury will be gullible enough to believe it
