Default Tatsunoko's Yatterman Remade for Broadcast in January
Yatterman, a popular 1977-1979 science-fiction comedy anime series from Tatsunoko Production, returns to the Japanese airwaves in a remake scheduled to premiere in January of 2008 on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV networks. Yomiuri TV has posted an image and a short teaser commercial. Cult favorite director Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, MPD Psycho) is planning a separate live-action film remake for a Spring 2009 opening. Thanks, enjin2000. Source: Mainichi Shimbun, Moon Phase
