I don't know if it's possible. It's only a suggestion:
Maybe, you can get a good server were members of Animea can upload their files. If you want to get a good uploadscript, I get one (free) made by a friend of me.

yeah we talked about this one time and scoutz said the server isnt the problem it's the bandwidth that cost so much money :(

But, maybe they can run it on a good computer.
Example:
A person has a computer (24/7), with unlimited trafic. He can get all the files on his computer...

well that sounds good in theory i guess it will be up to scoutz in the end i am all for it cause i upload a ton of stuff here anyways and to be able to put it on the server would help alot of people out but scoutz is away in egypt right now and wont be back until the 19th so i guess we will have to wait until then :D

Not sure if that would work either. Even if running a computer all day and having people download from it would be the same thing as letting people suck your computer dry on IRC. Also the person who's running the computer might have a limit on how much bandwidth they can put out each month or take in each month depending on their ISP.

lets just keep it free and go with megaupload....
many sites let you download from their servers but they charge you $5-$10 p/month...

Yeah, I agree.. lets keep with MU and the free webhosts. It might be inconvenient but it keeps the downloads and uploads fast, and it keeps this website free... I do not want to see this website force donations on others like some sites. It is one thing to donate to a website that you enjoy, but I WILL NEVER PAY, if I am being "forced".

i was thinking what if members got a server him/her self and set it up to support animea, is that possible? like we got members all over the world (well, pretty much :D), so if we got a server here and there, will it be better?
