Is Chihara Minori still making music?

So someone told me that Chihara Minori, Yuki Nagato's voice actor, was a JPop artist, so i looked her up, and now she's my favourite musician ^^ but im scared, because shes not that ultra popular.... is she serious about her music career?

Shes serious about both careers. Voice actors in japan especially female ones are usually trained in acting, singing, voice acting etc.. so they are usually doing a bit of everything. Most go on to be popular in jpop and voice acting then move on much later into acting.

So in answer to your worries I believe she will be around in the music world for a long while yet

Yes, a lot of actresses like to have 'that second iron in the fire' and make evey effort to keep their parallel carees flourishing. Who knows, she might even get a "Music in this series composed by:" credit. Plus it also is a better way of providing for your next of kin, publishing rights etc.

Yep, she is still singing, she loves her career. I think she is still working in Lantis and other studios.

Lol of course she is like many people here said. She sung a song for the second series of Haruhi Suzumiya.
