Contradiction: The Fate of The Power Pole

Has anyone else noticed this weird thing. When Goku uses the Power Pole to get to Kami's look out Post-King Piccolo, the Power Pole is left there. Then when he goes to the 23'rd Budokai, he has it with him when he dressed up in that get up with the stuff wrapped around his head. In Volume 1 of DBZ, the cover art has Goku with the Power Pole. In addition, the Power Pole is not attached to the Lookout during all scenes in the Saiyan Saga.

OK, here's where things get weird. During all scenes during the Namek/Freeza Saga's aswell as the Android/Cell Saga's, the Power Pole is now there again. At the beginning of the Buu Era, when Gohan goes to tell Piccolo about the 25'th Budokai, it is still there. Yet during the Buu Era, it once again is no longer there.

Let's see, Freeza said that he destroyed Planet Vegeta 30 years ago. Goku was born shortly before the planet was destroyed, and sent to Earth as it was being destroyed. *Counts*

12 years old at the start of DB.

Almost 13 at the 21st World Tournament.

16 at the 22nd World Tournament

19 at the 23rd World Tournament

24 when Raditz got to Earth

25 when he fought Freeza...

It seems Toriyama's math was a little off there...

-_- It's kinda easy to get the first one, he put the power pole on and when he leave for the 23rd tournament he take it off after the the Sayan Saga they see there was no more need for it so they decided to put it back, in the buu saga it was probably just a mistake
about the second one 25 is not so far away from 30 and the Bardock story was not written by Toryama-sensei so it may have some things like that wrong, and it may depend on the version you've seen, some times the translaters don't know something and it may create a few plot-holes
