I don't think its a coincidence that there is life here. If something is possible then it will occur some time in infinity and someplace in the immense universe, just happened to be here and now. DNA can be found in cosmic dust and caused to form in silicone under the right conditions.

Inside stars, many of the heavier elements, like carbon, oxygen, and iron, are forged from lighter elements, like hydrogen and helium, through a process called nucleosynthesis.
