This is a trilogy by Philip Pullman of the books

Northern Lights/The Golden Compass
The Subtle Knife
The Amber Spyglass

British Version

North American Version

This is an interesting series, I have just finished the first book of the trilogy and will start on the next one probably in a couple hours. Has anyone read any of these books?

I absolutely love this series. I read this series as a child, and have reread it many a time since then. Lyra and Wil are probably my favorite duo/couple in all literature, and the whole premise and execution of the story is aweinspiring.

Too bad the movie slaughtered the books...

Ive only read the first two, and I should have read the third, but I was held up from reading it for a bit. Im looking forward to reading the last installment and yeah, the movie certainly butchered the book, I was horrified when I saw the movie after reading the book

I have just finished reading this series and it was great. I won't ever reread the series for the simple fact that I have waaaay too many books I want to read that I have no time to actually read, but if I was granted some extra time, I would certainly read these again
