Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Greetings, fellow anime aficiondos (I've got no idea if I spelled that right) - I am here in the hopes that you could, perchance, aid me in my search for a most difficult target... the Surgeon with Hands of God, Black Jack! More specifically, I've been trying to add the original TV-series from 2004 (with fansubs) to my anime-collection... and it has proven to be quite difficult. Black Jack is apparently a lot more obscure than you'd expect of a series created by the same man who gave us 'Astroboy' and 'Kimba the White Lion'. Here's the odd thing... I found, with relative ease, a Torrent containing episodes 1-28 (though Episode 3 is mysteriously missing - I'm not sure if that one even exists), but everything after that is a crapshoot. In various locations, I've found Episodes 31, 34, 35, 36, 38, 40 and 41 - as you can see, that leaves some odd holes. For the most part, they've been fansubbed by the same person (Froth-Bite), and so, I'm inclined to believe that fansubs of episodes 29, 30, 32, 33, 37 and 39 exists as well, at the very least... whether there's anything after 41 is another question. According to Wikipedia, the original series had 62 episodes, so... It bears mentioning, however, that the 'new' series, Black Jack 21, is much easier to find - indeed, it's even available on this very site. It's the old one that's hard... So, there you have it. Any help, even if it's just a possible lead, on finding any of the episodes I'm missing, would be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to see more of the adventures of a man who can perform gastrointestinal surgery on himself, alone in the middle of the Australian Outback, while fending off a pack of hungry Dingos.
