It looks like a lot of people have the understandable immediate response of "lolicon is evil". But what I would like to say to all of you is; what is your opinion on sexual attraction?

Do you think that you can decide what you are attracted to sexually? Do you decide to have a preference toward Asian girls or black girls or whatever? Do homosexuals choose to be gay? Do you choose the girl you like? Or is it just a spontaneous reaction or response?

I think most people here would agree, sexual attraction is not a choice. And in the same way that gay people can't help being gay, lolicons can't help being lolicons. I just want to say that first.


Now that you see that attraction is not a choice, well, what do you do with that information? Do you automatically hate someone and think they are evil because of something they are born with? Well, that's a fine response if you are narrow-minded and ignorant. If you hate someone just because they like lolicon (an uncontrollable attraction some are born with) you put yourself in the same class as those who despise homosexuals, blacks, Arabs, etc. You are blindly attacking somebody for something that is out of their control.

I, for one, enjoy lolicon, and I am not a pedophile. Lolicon is a fictional universe no more real than Harry Potter or Star Wars. In the real world there are no Jedi Masters or wizards. And in the same context, in the real world there aren't girls that act or look anything like lolicon girls from the ages of 6-16. If you have ever read or seen anything from lolicon, you would know that nothing like what happens in it could EVER happen in the real world. It's a fantasy universe that resembles the real world, but greatly exaggerates it to appeal to fetishes.

One could say, "Well if you like fantasizing about such acts, you might end up commiting it someday in the real world!" I very much disagree with this statement.

Has anyone here ever played Grand Theft Auto? Well I have and I can say it's a real blast beating up innocent civilians, stealing cars, blowing things up, and being chased by the police. And while in the fantasy universe these things are lots of fun, I know that if I were to do such things in the real world, I would hurt people and put them in danger. I would never steal a car, shoot a random civilian in the head, or blow up a police car because I know this is the real world and I have responsibilities.

In the same way I would never mistreat an underage girl and try to get her to have sex with me. That has sever repercussions on a child's mind and more likely than not would lead to a serious mental problem later in life. The only people who would do such a thing are the same people who would steal an old ladies purse. They don't care about others and don't mind hurting others for their own benefit.

Child porn is wrong because it affects real girls. But lolicon is all in an artist's mind, an imaginary universe, just like that of any anime and it hurts no one. And lolicon doesn't lead to increased sexual attacks against children. I believe many argue that it actually helps stave away potential child predators.

And if someone were to sexually attack a child, they would do this eventually if lolicon existed or not.

So to all those haters out there, just take a read and perhaps you'll have a slightly more positive view on the subject. I don't mind if you think lolicon is disgusting. I still think homosexuality is disgusting myself. But now I support gay rights and will never judge a gay person as wrong, bad, or twisted. In the same way don't judge us as twisted. We are normal people too.

I agree. lolicons lovers are just disturbing and wrong. I'd be ashamed more of actually talking to people who are proud of being one. the thing is, some people actually deny the truth by saying "oh well im only 2 years younger anyways. :D!!!"
