Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I apologize if there are already threads like this around (didn't see any current ones.) So what martial arts do you guys and gals do/if you do any? I myself have been doing Jiu-jitsu for three years and I love it! But I would like to try some form of striking one day, can anyone recommend one? This thread is all about martial arts so go crazy!

I did TKD tell age 9 then aikido tell age 14 and switched back to TKD. Both of them are very good martial arts, but very different. But because of all my switching, I am not a black belt in any style. :(

The idea behind it is that you redirect the attackers energy and use it against them. I don't think I got good enough to use it effectively, but it was a lot of fun. We did some practice with bokkens and lots of wrist grabs. My sensei was a small, inverted Japanese man that was insanely good.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have a question for you guys: You seem to know yours stuff, so what is a martial art that stresses using the legs especially, and also the elbows, knees, and speed in general? There may not be one that stresses all of these, but just tell be about any that have any of those aspects. Much Appreciated! |
