Rules for anime

So what makes anime, anime? I know there's probably some real definition but I've come up with some rules of my own that I determined from the few anime I've watched. Add to the list if you want, and this is my first thread so hopefully you like it!

Rules
1) Atleast one character, if not more, must run with their arms stretched out behind their back, rather than at their sides.
2) Atleast one character, if not more, must be able to jump tall buildings. This means that although their legs may seem thin, they have incredible leg muscles.
3) When engaging a battle with an enemy, both fighters must reveal very detailed information about themselves, such as their strategy, why their fighting, how much they hate the other one, and their entire childhood. Also, this dialogue will be before, during, and after a battle.
4) All characters must talk to themselves.
5) All characters must explain the obvious.
7) All characters must think the obvious.
8) All major battles must take atleast two 30 min. episodes, and include flashbacks.

For me:
1) Anime must come from Japan.
2) The anime must have few moments where they are nearly standing, and their hair is the only thing being animated.
3) Characters must move their mouth, when they are talking, disregarding pronunciation.
(If you see an American animation and Japanese Animation, you will notice, even if it is Japanese audio, the mouths don't match the speech, this is false for the anime: Red Garden, you can notice their mouth is synchro with the speech, especially if they sing)

3) did not apply to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Trinity Blood etc

6) there was none.

7) did not apply to Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan etc

8) did not apply to Saikano, Code Geass etc

2. All Anime's have a storyline, more in-depth then meets the eye.
3. Most anime will have a girl that is purely present for fan service. She will either be a glasses girl, clumsy girl, girl with large breasts, a girl with a humorous attitude or all of the former.
4. There is usually a love relationshop between characters at some point, or the mentioning or implication of one.

The term you are looking for is "generic fighting shounen" which is a genre of anime. A few if not all of those rules usually apply.

Your rules are redundant and apply to most visual medium. A decent storyline with hot girls and relationships? Never seen that outside of anime!
