The Zodiac Curse

How long or how many cycles do you think the Curse of the Zodiac has been going?

I personally think it had been going from the beginning of time and that the Sohma family were the decendants of the originals.

Of course this theory leaves a ton of holes, such as how did they reproduce etc.

Let's hear everyone's idea's and theories

ever since the zodiacs had their souls manifest in the human body and im not sure when it happened and im not even sure that it did happen but one thing is certain, it has been going on for quite some time, and as all anime/manga plot our protagonists will have to end it in their own classic ways

hum, like barzillal said, its been a long time ago...probably coming up from the original spirits, probably for then to stay in this world after their animal body died...the souma family must have done something that made god angry..so...it happened to then....but its really hard to think over it...i actually haven't thought about it before hueheuhehuehuheu

I do have a question how did the spirits possess the sohmas? I mean they couldnt possibly have taken human form and "sow their seeds" throughout the era of humanity lol

lol perhaps, Takaya's really creative I mean she thought of having the zodiac as a curse. oh yeah in the actual legend the jade emperor invited the animals not a god but a god in a sense >..< lol
