Fear Pushing me into a corner, sending shivers down my spine Spawned by my imagination, impersonating my dark side Created for protection, used for torture For everyone different yet the same For all things that can be feared Death, others, yourself The thing that is feared the most Is fear itself Images of a war The stench of death fills the air Bodies litter the ground Blood, everywhere you look Am I the only survivor Do I want to keep living? After seeing this After knowing what happened My family, my friends, people I don't even know They were all slaughtered before my eyes But they gave me the worst punishment of all They didn't kill me They let me live With these images burned into my mind I'll never be able to sleep again With these images that fill my mind These images that haunt my dreams I'll never forget what happened The next sleep i will get Is the sleep eternal

Life is just a one way ticket to death We all pass different stations and see different things But in the end our destinations is the same This is what binds us together This is the reason for everything we do We just want to enjoy the journey to the end Because it's the last journey we will ever make After death there is no return Once we're born there's no escape Death, the only certainty It will come to us all This is what we all have in common This is the only thing we all have A one way ticket to the afterlife

this one is inspired by Elfen Lied: The edge of my Sanity "I want to die" "I don't want to continue" Thoughts like this haunt my mind I can't continue like this I'm on the edge, one push is enough Still they continue Pushing me around, leading me into madness They will never leave me alone They will always attack me I'm falling apart I can't hold on any longer I'm losing the fight, and I can't stop it As I'm beginning to lose my sanity And start to kill

Overflowing Sadness, clearly visible in my eyes Tears, flowing over my cheek Regret, filling my soul I feel pain deep inside my heart I hear questions, with no answers within reach I think of things words can't describe Lonely in this world, fighting it alone Win I can not, hold on i must If I give up I'm lost Death awaits me then But I can't hold on These emotions are too strong My mind is empty My soul is shattered As I pick up the knife And end it myself The next one has the same theme: Hope till the end Only sadness is what I see Only death is what I think Only regret is what I feel I have to go on, but I can't I have to live, but I won't My world is crumbling My life is falling apart I can't continue like this I have to change, or else it all ends I know it's impossible But I keep hoping I kept hoping Till the end As blood drips on the floor and I fall down Knowing I'm finally free Throwing your life away "I don't care what happens" "It's my life, I choose what to do" The words of the foolish The words of the weak Those egoistic, cursed words Should never be used Should never be carried out Driving to your own destruction Taking everybody around you with you One selfish act after another Unable to realise the truth Not strong enough to handle it Fooling yourself with lies Treating them as though they were true Living in the past, not thinking of the future The next poem is like a reaction to the previous: Stop Stop living in the past Think about the future You can't go on like this Stop, think and listen What do you want to do How do you want to live on Not like this, you know that Don't run away, don't step back You have to face it You have to brave it Or else you'll crumble And fall into madness You have to get things straight You have to keep on living

i made this one with teen4truth's help Betrayal An attack from nowhere A stab in the back I trusted you I told you my feelings I cared for you And yet, you used me I was no more than a tool Discardable, replaceable I shall never forgive you for this But I can't believe you did this We shared so much And experienced all these things But the facts still stand You betrayed me And I can't do anything else than watch Watch how my best friend becomes my most hated enemy

Burning love I can't stop thinking about you I can't stop caring for you I know what I want now I no longer want to just protect you I want to fight with you Always standing by your side Never swaying from my path again I hope you'll come to me As I'm finally ready I'll confess my feelings to you And await your answer Your answer to my burning love I was feeling kind of depressed today and because of that i wrote this: Why even bother We're foolishly living our lives Foolishly we try to create happiness But why do we even bother All what we create, will disappear All what we accomplish, will be forgotten All that lives, will eventually die Yet, we foolishly try to live a happy life Desperately we try to ignore the darkness before us As we walk towards our own destruction With that ignorant smile on our face And our eyes that can't, no, don't want to see the truth

Changing My past covered in shadows My future filled with doubt Where will my life bring me Why do I continue like this I know what happened in the past I know the future will be the same If I don't change my life, I'm doomed If I don't alter my habits, it's inevitable It's hard, nearly impossible, but i have to do it To save myself To spare everyone who cares for me I have to change I have to sway from my old path The path that would eventually lead to my own destruction And the pain of everyone around me

one of chieko's posts inspired me to write this: Powerless I can't take this anymore I don't want to see this anymore It hurts, seeing her like this This pain, I can't ignore it I don't want to see her suffer I want to help her I want to do anything I can for her I want to make her feel better Or at least share some of her pain But I can't I'm unable to help, unable to do something I'm chained, stuck, unable to move I can only watch as she suffers I can only see how she struggles I'm feeling powerless I'm feeling useless As I'm unable to help the one person I love

Lonely Alone in the darkness not knowing when it will be over I see people walking by But they don't notice me They don't see me struggle They don't hear me cry They don't know what i feel In this darkness i have to live Against the shadows i have to fight Alone, tired, ignored, forgotten No one helps me No one wants to As i try to protect myself Hoping I will find someone who notices and sets me free from my loneliness
