This Cruel World

In this cruel world.

The birds still wake up.
The sun still rises.

Everything will defreeze.
Everything is pileup,
In this cruel world.

We have so many choices.
But no one seems to care. Even in Europe,
The sun still rises.

Everybody spreads the word.
But no one gives a damn about cleaning up…
In this cruel world.

With all its riches…
It can’t be holdup,
The sun still rises

It’s all too late
We have already given up.
In this cruel world,
The sun still rises.

Wow!!They are so emo-which is cool-for me anyway! Wish I could write like that...I gave up writing poetry a long time ago-I write stories instead. But really well done-you have an art for it

i find it amazing how a stranger can have such a vast collection of poems that seem to have recorded every thought and emotion i've ever had. true, the world isn't the pretty place that others try to make us believe it is but the simple things that show us that we aren't alone in this chaos are the things that make this life so amazing. because it is those tiny and often unnoticed things that shed a brief and different light on this world that almost makes it even better than in fairy tales. great job and i hope you keep writing! ^ ^

true.. this world is anything but pretty, it's actually a sad sometimes even sickening place imo.. but, and i agree again, there are indeed little things.. certain people you meet during your life.. that make it bearable.. even enjoyable ^^
