Rep Power: 48   |  Birdy The Mighty Decode  Year: 2008 Status: Ongoing Total Episodes: 26 My personal info on the series: For anyone not old enough to remember Birdy the Mighty was a manga that ran between 1985 – 1988, and in 1996 was adapted into a short 4 episode OVA series by the Ninja scroll creator. It seems now, 20 years after the manga has ended its finally being made into a full length anime series. All I can say is YAY! I loved this series back in the day. *happy dance* Story: While chasing down a monster on Earth, intergalactic law enforcer Birdy ran into a young man named Tsutomu. Unfortunately, he was killed during the incident. Birdy's superior tells her that she must bond with Tsutomu in order for him to live out his life. So Birdy and Tsutomu become one.
