any detective anime recommendations?

Hello, looking for some detective anime recommendations.

Some detective anime series that I've seen, and liked:

• Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple
• Ayatsuri Sakon
• Detective Academy Q
• Detective Conan
• Ghost Hunt
• Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo

I'm hoping to find series that are setup very similar to these, where the cases are sometimes contained in one episode, but very often in 2-3 episode arcs.

As for genre, I will watch most anything. I dislike visual novel/game adaptation series like Air, Clannad, Kanon or anything that smells like dating sims. (unless geared towards females, bishonen are yum.)
