dude good choice(gantz and samurai champloo)i am checking out jinroh now.i havnt watched it.and you must read the gantz manga if you really liked the anime.its true that the last episodes were fillers and not related to real story.and wats with elfen lied.i hear this name everywhere.personaly i dislike animes with big eyes characters,i think characters with big eyes look unrealistic,and if it is a serious anime how am i supposed to feel the seriousness with big eyes gazing at me.it looks cute and suited for comedy anime.am interested in outlaw star.bleach sucks dont download it.soul eater rox.you must watch hunterxhunter.my suggetion:

Great Teacher Onizuka is a must watched the series at least 4-5 times i still love it.

Also u should try zoids i enjoyed, shuffle! funny as and.. tekkaman blade if u can get it very old mecha type anime but good for its time im sure you will like it.

If you into a mix of 2D and 3D action anime, I suggest you try out Karas or if your into sword arts/themes then samurai champloo perhaps.
