Epic anime

[Bobo-Chan]

In the course of watching anime, every now and then I'll stumble across a real gem. A show that is so good it manages to make me focus all my anime watching attention upon it (as I usually watch about 10 shows at the same time) and watch only that show, over 10 episodes a day, until I finish it.

Examples of such shows are Code Geass R1 + R2, Beck, Clannad + Clannad After Story, Fate/Stay Night, Shakugan No Shana + Shakugan No Shakugan No Shana Second, Death Note, Full Metal Panic, Fullmetal Alchemist, Higashi No Eden and Toradora (to name a few)

So, are there any recommendations for shows you guys have that, in your opinion, are real masterpieces?

Here is a list of all the shows I have already seen/am currently watching/plan to watch; so no shows from that list. (unless there's a really good one from my plan to watch list)

I remember when I started watching anime, it all begun with Naruto as the first anime sires I have ever watch I couldn't stay a way. So in a sense its an epic anime for me but there are few more like:
Bleach, xxxholic, black lagoon, blood+, elfen lied, d.n angel

i'm going to recomend those addictive anime that u can't stop watching until the last episode. o.o!

Jose, Bakemonogatari is actually one I have my eye on; I have the first few episodes downloaded. I'll give it a try then!

If I am correct, I didn't see Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in the Shell on there. Are you sure you haven't watched those? If not check them out, they are masterpieces.

GITS has 3 movies, 2 seasons of episodes.
Cowboy Bebop, 26 or so episodes.

Ah yes I have both GiTS and Cowboy Beebop on DVD, there are several shows that aren't on my list that I need to update :P

i see that you already watch FMP, i just want to know if you already see the season 2 and 3 of FMP (FMP Fumoffu and FMP : The Second Raid)...

i'll recommend to watch K-ON!..this anime don't have a deep storyline, but somehow i feel this anime is very fun to watch :D (it's a shame this anime only have 13 episode though )

I would recomend you watch Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, but it is already on your plz to watch list. I think this is a brilliant anime and very, very funny.
Incase you don't know much about it;
Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei revolves around a very pessimistic high school teacher named Nozomu Itoshiki who, at the very beginning of the series, tries to hang himself on a sakura tree. Despite this effort of self-destruction, he is saved by an extremely optimistic girl known only as Kafuka Fuura (though in her effort to save his life, she almost kills him). She explains to him that it is simply unimaginable that he would hang himself on such a nice day, especially in front of such beautiful trees. She decides to nickname Nozomu "Pink Supervisor" (桃色係長, Momoiro Kakarichō?), and offers to pay him fifty yen to call him by that nickname. After having enough of the strange girl, Nozomu bolts to the school and starts his homeroom class, but the attempt to escape was in vain as he finds that the girl is one of his students. Not only that, but Kafuka is just the tip of the iceberg: each and every student in his class represents a new personality quirk or bizarre obsession, posing challenges that the suicidally-inclined teacher must overcome in spite of himself.
A very interesting story line and rather epic in my opinion. It has a third series being broadcast at the moment, and a series of OVA's.
