Looking for High School based anime - Page 2

Till now, I watched Suzuka and my favourite, Great Teacher Onizuka. I enjoyed them. I am watching Nyan Koi, Akane iro ni Somaru Saka, School Rumble and Gokusen. Lol yeh i watch a few together. Is Clannad based on a girl or a guy like the main character?

How about Azumanga Daioh? It's a slice-of-life comedy about six high school girls getting through high school...And all the strange/funny things that happen along the way. It's pretty slow and relaxed, but it's good if you want to take a break from something with a heavy plot. Azumanga Daioh is actually a seinen series, so even though the main characters are girls, it's not particularly girly.

Another anime that's similar is Lucky Star. It has pretty much the same premise: four high school girls getting through high school. The main difference is that Lucky Star is full of otaku references. (From what I've heard, it mainly references The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Fullmetal Alchemist, but there are others.) I personally don't like Lucky Star very much, but you may want to check it out.

Can't go past Great Teacher Onizuka not for a second! my all time favorite. If your into anime that has short thrown together eps then you should watch Cromarite High School.

Ikkitosen, although it is Ecchi based, does qualify as a school panty fighter with a BAKA Heroine by the name of Haikifu, the source of a lot of the comedy.
