drop honey and clover... thats horrid... dont bother with that go watchthe rest of what was listed above. I would start with k-on and maybe Seitokai no Ichizonif you think you have seen enough anime to match up to the # of anime references used in it. But those are sort of comedies, for love or such go clannad. But if you want to see action/school/good art go see Shakugan no Shana.
