Military anime like Evangelion or Code Geass

Hi everybody

I´m looking for a new (military) anime, something with an amazing and complicated (hard to follow) plot like Neon Evangelion or Ralxephon.

The characters must be like Lelouch from Code Geass, intelligent, with clever ideas of how to change the world. I also enjoy to watch nations like Brittania, witch are based on Nazi Germany, something like dictatorial government with lot´s of technology.

Oh, and one more thing... I hate sad endings... so the good ones must win in the end (a wedding in the end would be nice)...

wow pretty small pickings.. I would say ghost in the shell, the 2nd gig involves someone with dreams of changing the world, very military like related, ending is a tad sad though, but still not terribly sad. umm.. that's the only one I can think of that falls anywhere near your request, the 1st gig of Gits is good too but the second one is more what your looking for

Valkyria Chronicles seems to be the anime ur looking for
The main character is smart and he changes the world....romantic too and it is action and military not a sad ending more like a re-union ending...

try watching Pumpkin Scissors...i think it's military type too, but i'm not sure about the ending though

Well, I have already watched both Valkyria Chronicles and Ghost in Shell.
Any more ideas?

I strongly recomend Fully Metal Panic
then there is the classical " Blue Submarine no.6. "

other than that try those already recomended by Aca-san ^^

I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
