I think you have pretty much nailed it, they're most of the well known anime, all fantastic if I may say so myself. We don't always agree on different genres when it comes to anime, make sure you have a look around and not simply ask the opinions of others. I bet it'll be worth your while.

Tsukihime lunar legend - the power of the hero is awesome. Katekyo Hitman Reborn - the first 20 episodes are crap because its just dumb comedy that doesnt make you laugh. then it becomes an epic anime about mafia. To Aru Majutsu no Index - the hero is yet another epic one. he can cancel magic with his hand Nabari no Ou - its a better ninja anime than naruto for me. Black Cat - its about a dude named train and how he betrayed his syndicate and becomes a stray. The hot Natsume sisters are a plus too. Too bad the anime is only like a preview to make you read the manga. Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi - its about a weak boy becoming stronger with the help of different masters(i know its cliche but its really good). The anime only spans for about 150 chapters of manga and there has yet to be a season 2. The manga has over 300 chapters. Shaman King - its something like soul eater but more original. Instead of people turning into weapons they use spirits and puts it in their weapon. Slam Dunk - best sports manga period im running out of ideas but i hope you watch all of these because i grew up watching some of these __________________
