I've never really been a fan of Live Action Movies from the start, but honestly, I can see this as being a massive failure. I mean, what are they going to do with the fights? DBZ was made as an anime because it was meant to be one. The reason that I watch DBZ at the least is because of the fights, but it's obviously going to be hard to perfectly mimmick the anime fights without making fools of themselves. Second, a white guy playing Goku? LOL, that just strikes as ironic. The Japanese actually made the anime; America just dubbed the anime into their language.

With that, shouldn't they atleast be accurate enough to let an Asian person play Goku's part? I don't know, that's just what I would've done. After that, what exactly will the villian be? Is it going to be like TMNT 3, or that movie that the AVGN mentioned and ranted about in one of his reviews that there weren't any villians from the original cast of villians in the cartoon, or in this case, anime? How would they even make a good looking Piccolo without making him look incredibly botched, anyways?

I don't see how this movie could be fun to watch at the least after just 3 points that I made. However, one other thing. Looking at Cartoon Network, I'm not trying to be racist or anything, but the Americans really fail miserably at making good storylines for a cartoon. I mean, if they're going to make an original storyline for this Live Action Movie, WTF are they going to do? Make it look like Goku and his friends Time Traveled to the past or something? The best they could really do at the storylines is to just copy them straight from the anime and reenact them as a "Live Action Movie".

So, with that, I obviously will not be taking time to spend my hard earned money on something that I know will be doomed for failure, but rather, I'll just watch parts of it on a site I know. The thing is, even if it's free, I probably wouldn't be able to finish it and just quit at around the first 10 minutes like I did when I tried to watch the Naruto dubs in English. That is all.

We really do understand DB was a great anime, but come on somethings just have to come to an end.

Hello Hitman Hart. In my opinion your right, in some parts. I think, that the actor who's going to do Goku, is a bit like him. I mean, the form of his face, the smile, but of course the fact that is not asian is very stupid. And the worst part is, that Goku is american (of course...) and Chi-Chi is a very hot asian, it's Stupid I Know.
And that's apllies to the rest of the actors, I see an enfort to choose actor, that looks like the character...
I'm a big fan of DBZ, and this film is just an umiliation to the anime. But it's doesn't hurt to see the first 10 minutes, I just have to see and complane later...
And about the fights, i think it's gonna be the easiest part, with today especial effects, that's nothing. I think, thats the real objective they've got. It's all about that, in todays films...
What I'm worried about, is the actors, and the story, that I know it's going to suck a lot.

I have mixed thoughts about the movie, can't compare it to Transformers movie as it was all CG but was also critized and turned out pretty good. After seeing some pics esp. of Justin Chatwin without the hair, i can't really say i'm hoping for alot but im not gonna give up hope. Just i am preparing myself when FOX announces the movie was a haux and plays a trick on anyone, just like last time T_T.
