i watched this film , its not about death note there is no death note only L is trying to save the world it was like some kind of action film in the end L trying to jump a plane its so nonsense..When Kira was dead death note was over i think

There was said to have three live action films for deathnote. This was the second.

I don't think L is really un-fit. He did show some athletic ability when he beat up Light.

Ahh, I haven't read up much on the Deathnote live action films. I just read the manga, saw a little of the anime : /

This movie is nothing to do with the Anime or the Death note. Neither is Yagami Light in it. It's simply a spinoff of the character L. Set after the events of the second Death Note film.

Actually it's really bad. L is his usual witty self but the villains are almost brainless. L outwits them every time. The story is pretty weak too. It's watchable. But definitely not a 'must see'.

5/10.
