Live Action Basalisk Movie

I have found a movie called Shinobi that is the Live Action for Basalisk, and it is not a bad movie at all, good fight scenes, and they have some of everyones favorite characters represented.

Do they make it cheesy or anything because I like the Basilisk series and if they movie sucks it would ruin it for me.

I enjoyed the movie and didn't think it did the Anime any injustice, but everyone has their own opinions on how things turn out, so you can only watch it and make your own decision. If you want to know a little about it first here is a link to the Wikipedia on Shinobi

I saw a review for this on attack of the show but they didnt say it was for basilisk. Im going to have to check this out. They did give it a very good review though.

i watched the film and i didn't like it..in the anime oboro couldn't use any kind of blades but in the film she has Gennosuke's special ability and i think this is soooo nonsense film's end was different from the anime's end,too

It wasn't supposed to be a mirror image of the anime and I think that is where a lot of people go wrong when judging Live Action ones.

it's Shinobi: heart under blade. it's not an adaptation of basilisk, but an adaptation of the koga ninpocho novel.
in short, basilisk, ninja scrolls, and shinobi: heart under blade are adaptations of the famous 1950's novel called Koga Ninpocho.
