Live Action Blood the Last Vampire

What is Sony thinking? Why would they pick up the rights to it & then not let Goldwyn films distribute it more widely. I mean it can't be cheap to just be sitting on it.
I wonder if they're waiting to see if it's popular enough to release in more theaters? Or do they intend to let just a select few have the priviledge of seeing it on the big screen? It's beginning to tick me off!!!!!

Seriously, I took off a day of work on the Friday it came out hoping to go see it. I was even willing to travel a good distance (up to 3hours away) Our whole family was gonna go see it. But the day arrived & the theaters said 'nope we're not showing it!"

Either they should release it on DVD already or make it available to more theaters!!
I asked the manager of our local RAVE &
he said he's never heard of it!!

I downloaded this movie around the end of June...

I still haven't touched it. I don't want to taint my memory of the original film with this garbage. Yet, it's like a train wreck; you can't look away.

Someday I'll have the courage to watch it. Just not today.

wow thats really surprising it came out in most Uk cinemas
it has a lot of action but the story is based mostly on the blood the last vampire anime movie with a few large changes

Has anyone seen this yet!? I STILL want to know if it's worth watching. =/ And I am STILL confused as to what the heck is going on in the movie, because it doesn't look at all much like the Last Vampire anime movie.... unless its' been THAT long since I've actaully seen it o.o"

It is an ok film not spectacular it is based on the location of the anime film taking the key elements of the story like who she works for and her personality but as for what her past and were she comes from have been changed also her goal has been changed so the film can wrap up
id say watch it but don't go to the cinema to watch it :)

I downloaded it & watched part of it before heading off to work!
I wish that they wouldn't have blurred the bottom of the screen tho. It was annoying. So what there were subtitles. i can live with that better than having it blurred out!

The version I downloaded was in English...so yay! Anyways, I agree with your description of the movie. Some changes but still definately worth seeing. I would've like to have seen it on the big screen just cuz it more fun that way :P
Oh well...now I own it!!! hahahaha PFffttt on Sony!

Yea Yoko it has the chiroptera (or what they have called them for the film same thing tho) it even has the scene out of the anime film were its flying after the plane

@ Hikaru your right blood + would have been better to make a live action but it would have had to be 2 or films long or cut to much out of it that it would not be the same
