Nobuta wo Produce!!

Hiya people.. I just watched the local channel and lo and behold, i saw a j-dorama titled nobuta wo produce. It was being shown along with the korean drama..anyways. The stars are the same ones from the j-remake of hana kimi.. The story is about a shy girl who meets 2 guys and they sell key chains of pigs blessed with 'nobuta power'.. Well my question is.. Is nobuta based on an anime or a manga?? If so..can you post links here? Okay this will become a competition.. The one that offers the most help, wins rep points!

What i need:
