I watched this series a few months back and thought it was a really good show, but it seemed to me like it could have gone on much longer. I really liked Claire's character. She really seemed to be lost about who she was and what her place was in the world, but by the end she seemed to have a little better grasp on everything. Yet when they ended it there still hadn't really been any resolution to the story. Is there any other material out there that continues the story?

Yeah, the manga the anime was based on. The anime-ending was especially and exclusively written for the anime though. The manga storyline differs from the anime around ep. 17 (don't know for sure which ep. it was but arround there) and continues.

Personally I hated the ending for the anime...it seemed like it didn't resolve anything!!! but I really liked it throughout the length of the show...

Yeah the ending really did kind of leave everything just sort of hanging out there unresolved.
