Episode 8 was awesome. My comments about episode 8.

The way Stein and Deathscythe fights together as a team, there pretty bad ass when fighting Chrona and we got to know a little more about that evil witch who looks pretty strong as well. I wonder whats going to happen to soul now since his blood has somewhat mixed with the sword of Chrona's.

This is just my opinion but the way i look at Stein's weapon/partner, the deathscythe looks somewhat like a Zangetsu (from bleach, Ichigo's shikai) stuck on a black stick being swung around lol. The soul resonance move triggered by stein and Deathscythe was pretty cool too.

Lol at that scene when Blackstar jumps on the bed and tries to wake soul up while hes unconcious hahahaha.

Well episode 8 was a great episode. Episode 9 should be based on Death the Kid and Blackstar working together to obtain some holy sword. from the looks of the previews.

I saw the 9th episode.well nothing special...death the kid and blackstar tried to take the excalibur(0%interesting).But soul might become the witch's research subject!!!!!!!!!!

There really isn't many diferences between the standard and the Late night edition. the only diferences between the standard and late night edition so far are the previews for the next episode and commercial breaks are somewhat diferent. Theres nothing cut out from the anime for both editions so you don't really need to watch both.

Rumbel subs the late night edition which you can get from their website:

However AEN subs the series much quicker as they sub only the standard editions now. you can get the episodes direct from www.cyber12.com and then search for soul eater there.

I love this anime
however I still confuse with human and weapon.
why they can not fight them self??have to be human and weapon

Ive seen the 10th episode and its pretty much based on Tsubaki's past and the problems she has to solve.

It was pretty interesting to see that the star clan, the one black star was born from was a group of assasins who used to exist but have now been all assasinated. Next episode, Tsubaki fights off with that assasin she has faced from her past inside that cursed sword. Hope she prevails...

Nothing wrong with having a human turn into a weapon for another, the idea itself sounds bizarre at first but then again its still cool to see how both partners fight together. Take Maka and Soul for example.

Besides, we've already seen most human characters fight with their own weapons that aren't humans, just normal weapons that come with their fighting style so its good seeing how a weapon that can interact with its user can really pack a punch together and this is shown in Soul Eater known as Soul Resonance.
