for me i really dont have a favorite series, then again i havent seen them all yet either! i really like new century zero and currently im watching genesis and it pretty good.

I guess I'll be the first to reply to this topic. I'm an avid Zoids fan and have been importing figures since I first saw them online (that was before the show even aired in the U.S.)

I've seen all the seasons except Zoids Fuzors, which I tried watching but lost interesting immediately after 3 episodes. To say the least, it was not a good anime in my opinion.

My favorite is definitely Zoids New Century Zero. Liger Zero and Berserk Fury rule! I also like the custom armor system because it's like Liger Zero transforms and I like transformers/megazords. It was definitely a good series, sure the story was a little weak since it was another evil organization wanting to rule the world but nonetheless, the characters were awesome, the Zoids designs were great (so was the animation), and the toy line was sweet. The only bad parts I can think of, some of the battles used boring explosions of smoke instead of some more detailed explosions and destruction, and there was no sequel! This series definitely needs a movie, sequel, or OVA and because of how it ended, there is so many possibilities for continuing the series.

Zoids Genesis was the most recent series I've seen and it's pretty good. I must say the animation of the Zoids was a disappointing after watching NCZ but I've been informed that it was a new CGI team that did the work so I can understand the change. The story was pretty interesting however I found the main character a little selfish after deciding saving the world was more important that his village which was supposedly going to die relatively soon. The Zoids designs were awesome and great new take on what Zoids look like. I also like how they integrated the idea of fuel for Zoids, anything that makes Zoids more realistic is cool in my opinion. Besides the animation, I was however disappointed by the rushed ending. I don't want to spoil anything but basically, after the final battle you would think there would be an epilogue of some sort explaining what happens to everyone when it's over, but no. It ends and there are so many questions which you wish were answered; of course this happens in a lot of series but I for one thought it was annoying in this series especially since it was long compared to Fuzors and NCZ.

Last but not least is Zoids Chaotic Century/Guardian Force. I must say it's an alright series. I originally watched it when it first aired and haven't taken the time to re-watch it yet but I do have fond memories of it. It had an interesting wartime storyline with lots of back-story about an ancient civilization. Also, the organoid concept was absolutely awesome and made things more interesting all at times it seems to give a whole Yu-Gi-Oh! feel, and by that I mean, Yugi also drew the best card at the just the right moment in order to win. I did like the story and from what I can remember, the ending was pretty cool. The Zoids in this series were not as interesting as those in ZNC or Genesis but that's because some were based off the old toy line. There were however awesome designs like the Death Stinger and Genobreaker. Overall, good series with truly spectacular Zoids like Blade Liger.

That's about it... Zoids are awesome (yeah, I noticed I said the word "awesome" so many times. I have a limited vocabulary... don't make fun of me).

i agree, new century zero is the best! i liked genesis too though. apparently in japan genesis is considered to have the best female characters! anyways, zoids will never stop being awesome!

I can understand Genesis having the best female characters. The voice actresses for Kotona and Rei Mii made several singles including the ending songs. They also made drama CDs with remixed songs from the show. Those two were very popular and pretty good singers as well.
