Definitely Gaara first, but I also love Jiraya and Kakashi for comedy value (as well as some pretty cool jutsu!)

Aburame Shino is by far my favorite character. He's the only good fighter that doesn't come off as a jerk, wanker, or idiot. In addition to being a good, laid back person he also has way more sensitivity for teamwork than the other fighters.
It's too bad he'll never get laid, what with being full of bugs.

Rock Lee is my favorite character because he symbolizes hardwork and dedication. He's one of the strongest ninjas with purely hand-to-hand combat.
