hmm interesting to see that know 1 has voted for pre hueco mundo arc even though ichigo fights grimmjow twice and also gets some training with regards to his hollow form. guess every1 is waiting for part 3 lol

Soul society had most of the elements right.But even when i was watching that i wondered what something like that in hollow world would look like....Now its coming up well....Hope it surpasses SS arc :-P

I actually like the first arc the best. The character introductions were all very memorable and well-done and made you like the characters straight away, the interactions were more varied, with Ichigo and Rukia especially priceless, the animations was beautiful and there were some moments in this arc that I think remain the most poignant of the series so far (Rukia being taken away, Ichigo fighting Grand Fisher etc). I think focusing on a handful of characters, instead of the hordes that we have now, also helped to keep the story tight as well.

In my opinion, this arc was the lynchpin; if it wasn't great, we wouldn't care nearly as much for the characters and story as we do now. As it was, I think it was brilliant, though not to say I'm not really fond of the other arcs too!

the Soul Society one till now! I'm really loving the Hueco Mundo arc but first I need to read/watch it all and then I will decide If I like it better or not
