Unless Aizen turned out to be the good guy. There have been alot of questionable things in Soul Society's history.

Well Soul Society has acted like compleate jerks all the time, they destroyed quincys they betrayed fellow shinagamis ( in the pendulam arc,vizzrds were put on a death sentence, but they were the victims of Aizen) and they dont trust their own taich's. But all these stuff they say they do it for the protection of humans and the balance of both worlds.

As for Aizen his motive is just POWE POWER POWER, so i dunno if he becomes good, If so this bleach will become a fairy tale like " Ichigo's wonderland" or something. LOL
