New theory of awesomeness

well, i was just thinking about ukitake juushiro and his illness, and the fact that rukia is part of the 13th divison of the gotei-13
now they made ukitake strongly ill, and he will probably will die soon from his illness, then the time would come to chose a new capatain and our ichigo will take his place while rukia will become his vice-captain, sounds perfect isnt it? just sits there and waits for somebody to think about it XD

you are aware that ukitake´s captaincy lasts nearly as long as the shinigamy academy, so to speak almost 2k years, since he was one of the first to graduate from the academy? and that he was already ill when he was a mere student? and that he´s an outstanding shinigami with an immense reiatsu? he is waaaaaaay stronger than you´d think, and he will last a little much longer for suuuure ;)

im kind of away from being sure that he will last for much longer because
1.i dont remmber him being ill back then
2. i know kubo MADE him ill because he wanted to show his strong, but have u seen how much SHOWN trouble the ill did to him? and think of how much he suffers from that illness when there r times when he isnt shown.
3.one of the strongest students, yes, one of the first to graduate, yes, more than 2000 years old yes, and if he really was ill even in the time of of the academey, it means he's suffering from an illness for more than 2000 years, how much time do u think he will be able to tolerate?
it was even said that his illness get worser, so actually u just strongered my theory, u didnt break it. XD

And yes jsut as nit3 said.Ukitake and Kyoraku were the 1rst generation to graduate from the academy and ol'man Yama even says in one ep "that ukutake was always sick ,since he came to the academy" so im thinking nothing will happen to ukitake,cuz dispite being sickly he's one of the strongest captains ^^

you should really rewatch the first episodes or reread the first chapter, killtev, if you really missed what was said about ukitake =p

haha, I like the theory, but then again, Ichigo will have to die to become a captain, plus, he is a vaizard, which is known by SS, so if they would be willing to accept Ichigo as a captain, then they would probably accept the vaizards back into SS who were several former captains and would be better choices for captains than Ichigo would

Well I don't think this theory is plausible, as nit3 said he has been sick for over 2,000 years now. It was said he just has a weak body, so I am not sure if it is exactly a illness or just the fact that he has a weak immune system.

well, he can always die from an oponent, also the more the time passes, his body gets weaker more and more, i think its another purpose of ukitake being ill, so i still think its possible. also, about the vizards, im preety sure that SS doesnt know ichigo is a vizard, not sure though, but i think they dont, he wasnt fighting any taicho class with the mask on, and renji and rukia wouldnt just go to SS shoutin' "hey IChigo is a vizard! how cool can that be??!" >.<

now did u think about if the vizards would like to go back?
i mean its like giving someone a present for a b-day or something, and after he made u mad, u say i want my present back, i dont want u to have it anymore, it doesnt work like that, while im not sure if ichigo needs to die, maybe his body is just like isshin's the one of urhahra's gigai's that block the reiatsu completley, as isshin could get his power out so it possible that ichigo did that too in the beggining. also for ichigo to die, is a posibilty too, as he is about ulquiorra's lvl, ulquiorra is far in his power from Aizen or the espada's above him.

Well whatever happens i sure Ukitake-san is going to be around for quite some time.
