Yeah, of course she will eventually get it, because A) she's a main character and B) they have revealed that she is powerful enough to be a liutenant in soul society! and C) they need another reason to show off their animation skills!

I don't think so. Bankai is supposed to be hard to achieve and if suddenly all this people were to achieve it, get kinda stupid. Besides Rukia's better at spells then with her sword.

Well the thing about these animes is that there is always another level... i.e. Saiyen, Super Saiyen, Super Saiyen2, etc.... So I think that we will a lot more bankais in this anime.

Even if there's no other higher level of bankai, eventually something will
come up.
The main character just have to get stronger for the storyline to continue.
I gotta admit that Rukai's shikai looks beautiful, a bankai for her if welcomed.

Well like I said it would just feel tacked on. Like they were trying to make her stronger, just to make her stronger. And that would be stupid. Just because she's a main character doesn't mean she should get super powerful.

well i personally think she already has a bankai that has a bankai itself rather himself... hahah
Byakuya is like a sword that protects rukia remember what he said in chapter 302 it indicates he will always protect rukia i think he already said that about his promise to hisana

But yeah I think she will have a bankai whether the author would want to show it or not they will continue battling hollows anyway
