Been watching one piece on and off for like a year now and I'm getting extremely annoyed with all these sort of filler episodes or just short as hell episodes (intro is like 4+ mins now :P). I've even skip episodes ><;. Lately I've been staying with the movies and seem most of em, cept for the remakes. Still love One Piece though.

Well, the biggest thing I've noticed about One Piece is that once it actually got going, there were very few fillers in between the Arcs. Maybe I just don't remember them all since there is almost 400 episodes but I do remember there aren't that many fillers, especially when compared to other shows that have run that long.

And I just watched episode 396. I already know whats going to happen because of the Manga, but am just as excited because it's animated. It's almost like I'm seeing it for the first time.

I'm actually in the episode 385, I could get updated with the episodes if i wanted to, but I'm going at the same step as my fav fansub, hopefully they'll get up to date soon.

I don't mean like the real fillers, but like they have such long ass episode recaps and flashbacks and stuff. Or sometimes they have just like pointless conversations ><;. I just wanna watch Luffy kick some ass and save lives.

Well, Huey, even in the manga it's not ALL kicking a@@ and saving lives, you have to have some story or the series falls apart. And the reason they have long openings is because they removed the ending songs. I still generally prefer the manga if I want to get right to the point, but for just relaxing and enjoying the series, I like the episodes.

Also I agree with Erroneous, the anime makes you feel like you're seeing things for the first time.^^ And in regards to the filler/flashback comment, I agree that some fillers are annoying to a certain degree, hoowever some of them are really quite amusing, the flash backs might be a little heavy, but it's nothing compared to some other series.

well the latest ep was awesome i really liked how luffy hit that guy. ^_^ i really like how luffy sticks up for his friends not matter what. I wish more guys was like that. Oh and the old man what kind of attack was that?

Luffy got them too by what he did too the big cow that the person looks like Sanji poster ride on suddenly collapse. oh and i think the tenryuubito girl was also collapse by Luffy's haki too, not Rayleigh. I thought it was Rayleigh from manga though

anyway, i realise an interesting thing that one piece could probably go on without any filler for the next 2 arc too from all the people shown (boa hancock, ace the most interesting person is the last person shown after all the shichibukai is the person who was in the jail together with ace) in the opening and the fighting scene on gaol. so i guess the person was a shichibukai before like hinted in the latest chapter manga currently. But there's no mr2, the okama gang so probably gonna have fillers before gaol or in the middle of gaol.

even though no filler we can already see in sabaody arc where they cleverly make a waste time scene like how those auctioner trap people into paying more, extra people sold not seen in manga and Rayleigh take longer time around 2 or more minutes just watching surrounding before saying 'i've figured out what happen' when in manga he just look at Caimie and straightaway say that.

I should start reading the Manga though >,>...

yes, i also love One Piece because once an arc start, there's only a small amount of side stories at all... ^^
