Is Gold D. Roger the ancestor of Monkey D Lufi?

sometimes i think that there is some bound between Gold and Lufi
let see with Lufi's father, brother, and Gramp that really-really strong and have big fluent in One Piece film

It's actually Gol D. Roger not Gold D. Roger. It's not a family name, Luffy's last name is Monkey not D. There is a little thing know as "the will of D" in One Piece you can read about it here. http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Will_of_the_D.

Gol D. Roger is Luffy`s father. also known as Monkey D. Dragon. He did not die actually in the execution. Rather a Secret Between him and the world government. hehehe. only an opinion.. no hurt feelings... hahaha

Yeah cuz thousands of people witnessed him being stabbed through the chest. Also the fact that him and Dragon look SOOOOO much alike. That is possibly the most off the wall theory I have heard. >_>

You can't call someone an ancestor if the gap is only 20 years. Jeez..

And besides, Luffy has his family tree laid out for everyone to see. He could be a distant family member but we can only speculate.. Go ask Oda..

Even if Gol and Luffy are related, it's probably distant relation. that, or Roger would of been his Uncle. That's the only two choices that'd make sense in good context.

hääää??? Gol D roger isn´t luffys father because Monkey d dragon is his father and i don´t think monkey d dragon is gol d roger because gol d roger was sick.. and he went on his own will to the marine so i dont think he is alive

Even so, is it confirmed that Gol D. Roger already dead? We dont know yet bout the details as we dont know what kind of capabilities that the Gol D. Roger's have. Maybe he got some strange Immortality capability?

There is something bothers me..
If the Dragon so powerful, why he didnt go search the One piece like other pirates do?
Maybe he does already got all the One Piece...
Or may be.. just maybe he is Gol D. Roger...?
