Is One Piece worth watching?

I like Naruto well enough....so do you hardcore "Piecer's" think i'd like One Piece if i gave it a chance? I only saw bits and pieces of it on FOX Kids a while back...I didn't know if saturday morning american kids edit would do it justice. Im just kind of looking for a fun series to watch...I'm not big on the animes that take themselves too seriously or the romantic ones....

if u like Naruto u will LOVE One Piece its so much better and i really enjoy it. Sure its a big story but in the end its worth every Episode. In One Piece there arent really "fillers" cause every episode is unique. When u watch the first 30 episodes its like heroin ;-)

believe me and its so funny wo watch it monkey D ruffy is and all the others members are such nice characters u will love it !

It's already a long story though, but don't worry, One Piece worth it ^-^

The plot and storyline is unique, interesting, unpredictable, lots of funny and hilarious moments, but also deep and meaningful in several important scenes.
You can say that they aren't take themselves seriously, but still, the story is well-planned, very well, might I add.
And definitely not romantic, I'm not a big fan of romance too.

There may be a lot of episodes (over 400) but all of them are worth watching, including the fillers. The series and fillers are much better than both Naruto and Bleach combine.

I heard the story itself isn't that bad.

BUT that the conversations between the characters sound like conversations between 3 year olds, mentally retarded 3 year olds to be exact.

i recommend you to start with da manga cause things really pick up after the " grand line" arc. The anime till then does not do much justice to the story, it is good but manga is really awsome. Better than Naruto and Bleach togeter.

I also was not sure back then weather to pic Op or not, but I started reading the manga and now I am addicted to it. :)
