Not necessarily. A ship is big enough, you could make tiles and basically tile the ship. That way the ship could be coated, whereas a sword is small. I dont think it would be possible to make a katana out of seastone, however, a sword as big as Mihawks could possibly be out of seastone.

yeah, he does have 3 swords...so why not have one of them be of sea stone or something...

smokers weapon isnt a sword its a giant metal baton so sharpness wouldnt matter for him

Thats true, but he still has it in case he does need it, not cause that is his primary weapon, his logia DF power is his main weapon

But anyways, it was a good concept but not really practical and besides, like Monz said, his main goal is to beat Hawkeye and even against other DF users, there's not been any that he's not been able to beat yet ;) (Unless you're keeping up with the manga)

remember zoro wasn't able to cut off enel cause he was electric and logia and that caused zoro to lose so he really needs this kind of katana
