i am going to probaly be instantly hated for this by many of you but im going to bestow a truth of gundam on you all. Athrun Zala is the best gundam character out there. i could start stating reasons but i will give one for now.

HE REENTERED THE EARTHS ATMOSPHERE IN A FREAKING ZAKU! NOT EVEN CHAR AZNABLE COULD DO THAT AND HES THE MOST WELL KNOWN CHARACTER OUT THERE!

now last thing to say.............. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIING ON THE HATE!

i dont know about athrun.. but i think kira is great as well. after all he is known an the ultimate coordinator. Thats from the Gundam Seed and Destiny as from Gundam 00 Setsuna is the greatest and coolest :D

I think Athrun is the best he is on Kira's Level through hard work and training, kira was just given the abilities as a co-ordinator. and athrun is smexyfied

athrun is kinda cool in the gundam seed series(havent watch gundam seed destiny)
but i think setsuna f seiei is way cooler than athrun zala
