Hattori Heiji

Of course, i love Shinichi, but what do you guys think about Heiji??

I think he has his own charm.. I love the episodes when him and Conan are together... He's quite funny when he makes excuses when Ran catches him saying "Kudou".. He's also intelligent.. (of course, detective of the west)..

at first, he wanted to challenge Shinichi, but then they became bestfriends.. and Heiji has learned a lot from Shinichi/Conan...

i hope to watch more episodes with him!!!

Heiji is cooler than Shinichi because of his kendo skills but i like Shinichi better. Unlike Shinichi he seems to not realize that his childhood friend is in love with him. Well thats pretty funny anyway.

and have you watched the episode where they went to jodie sensei's apartment to investigate?? i think he speaks english better than shinichi.. his accent was soo much better than shinichi's...
i want to see more episode of him... he's cute...

Heiji pretty much appears in ever 10-20 or so episodes after each normal one, and he sometimes even has his own special with Kudou or Conan that's like 2 hours long. It's fair to say that he's a pretty big part of the series, and he also has his own intelligence aswell. The only detectives that I really like is Heiji, Kudou, and that guy who's supposed to be European and only appears in episodes 219 and 479. He's pretty cool but obviously not too active in the series.

I think Hattori is cooler than Shinichi, but not as smart. They've both got strong points. And Hakuba (the European detective) is pretty cool too. (I like his bird, Watson :) ) It's kinda hard to choose a favorite out of every detective in the show...

But Heiji is still awesome.

it's cool that he can do kendo. although i think he's not up to par with shinichi, i still think that he is a good character that adds humor to the show. I love it when conan and hattori are together because it almost always seems like hattori will blow conan's secret because he keeps on saying Kudo. When he first finds out about conan being Shinichi, it was also hilarious because he was like "where is my voice coming from?"

I love Hattori to death with him being "hot-headed" and all, but he's just not as good a detective as Shinichi. And it's probably because Hattori's dad probably never taught him crap about being a detective while Yuusaku, Shinichi's dad, drilled it into his head as a child. (It may also be because Hattori reads more Ellery Queen novels than Doyle...Doyle is way better than Queen)

I would say that Hattori Heiji is a pretty good character in terms of entertainment, humor, and how he has kendo skills. His intelligence, however, is pretty much not as up to par as Shinichi's skills. I still enjoy most of the episodes he appears in, which is about 1/10 of every episode after his first appearance. As another user mentioned, I do like Detective Hakuba, the European detective, too. The only thing is that he only appeared in 2 episodes I believe: 219 and 400 something, which is pretty much 200 episodes apart. He also appeared in the 10th movie, but that's barely enough to satisfy people that actually enjoy him.
