Well, liking Conan / Shinichi is a given, but I'm starting to enjoy Ai Haibara -- even more than Ran.

(personally though, doesn't not telling Ran mean that Conan doesn't have any faith in her ability to keep his secret? Has she done something to betray his trust?)

Personally my favorite will always be Kaitou Kid because well he isn't really all that bad.

Well, my favorite character is probably Kudo Shinichi. However, seeing as that's just such an obvious choice, I'll choose Kaitou Kid then. His gimmick is really cool and how he sometimes gives Conan a real challenge once in awhile is great. He's also pretty funny, especially in that one movie where he was constantly harrassing Ran about her bust size. I would've also picked Heiji, but he kind of lost his touch of coolness after learning about Conan's identity.
