DB new movie

He plays a good bad guy in Smallville don't know if you watch that or not but hes convincing, do you think they will make him up like piccolo, im thinking they might keep him looking more like a human rather than a Namekian.

Im not sure but if they dont make him look green and alien like then this isn't dragonball. I will be really annoyed but im sure theres a big possibility of that happening so that it will be more main stream and appeal to normal movie goers. Thats one of the main reasons i dont understand why they decided to make piccolo the main villain.

Yeah same as what i was thinking, to make it appeal to more people they will keep him more human looking, its like there just completely humanizing it if Piccolo isn't green, also where the hell is Krillin and Tien?

Ha i didnt even think about that how could they not put krillin in this movie. Honestly im starting to wonder if there just using the dragonball name and some of the characters to bring in people. Because so far it doesnt look like it has any real DB feel to it.

I always thought they could do a really good dragonball Z movie if they put their minds to it, but instead they pic a random part in between db and Z and dont stay true to the anime at all. This is probably gonna suck. Im wondering if its going to be a straight to dvd release or actually in theaters.

At first i was hoping for theaters but the more i hear about it, the more i hope regular non anime fans dont see this.

ok well i saw this thread from back in the day and it shows piccolo being all green but i dont know if that is from this movie or just some random pic.

Hmmm k well at least we know there keeping Piccolo as Piccolo so thats good, i hadn't thought about Krillin and Tien either untill i did that post, Krillin was there at that point in Dragonball as was Tien so how they can leave them out i don't know.

I don't think it will be a straight to dvd movie because theres a few high profile actors in it and i imagine they will spend a fair bit on the SFX but i don't think they understand how important it is to anime fans that they keep it as accurate as they can or maybe they just don't care?

Wow the picture you posted worries me a lot! it looks like another teen movie! lol, what if they make a high school and Goku is the bullied and Krillin and the others his friends and Vegeta is a bully? i would totally LMAO at that, but hell, i hope they can do it right!:P not screwed up like resident evil or something.

i am interested in atleast seeing this movie...i am a little worried they won't stick to the story too but i think that piccolo pic looks pretty good...so if that's from this movie it may turn out ok...he was always my favorite character =)
