I think the reason they might consider going pre-SS is because that'd be a horrific drain on CGI resources...

I find the whole idea too stupid, to make it LOOK good they need the budget of the Star Wars and to make a good story they need the brains of the Matrix. Anywayz, i got two links here.... The movie is being filmed in Mexico.

There has been a lot of news about the Dragonball movie that 20th Century Fox is producing. The scheduled release date is August 15, 2008. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1098327/

I think that the live action for DB isn't a good idea, a serie like Db don't deserve a stain in is curricle.

It's not going to be good unless they put a lot of CG into it and come up with an original story.

The most concern I have is the CG. Too much or too less will both affect the movie. Or will they use wires instead like most Chinese Martial Arts film? Also the characters...more like the actors. Will they be able to act out the characters the same as in the anime? Or...will they blend two characters into one? Or...will there be any original characters?

So far all I have are doubts about this film . But we'll see, we'll see...

Frankly i think they can get some aspects correct....cause at that early stage there r very few guys with power...
