Superheroes probably not. Unless they could get rid of the entire humanity in a single action.
Like Rei & Shinji combo from Evangelion (took less than 20 minutes of anime (probably) to kill everyone on the planet) or Chise from Saikano (took a single flash to kill everyone on the planet, but not sure of time).
Most of the Saiyan only killed the planet that the civilizations lived on. They didn't actually just kill people only.

well I believe that superman and Goku's battle would last for a while but Goku would defeat Superman by transforming into a Super Saiyan and overpowering him with the Kamehameha.

Seems like most people think it would be a good fight while Goku was in his base form but as soon as he turns SSJ the fight would be over as a contest, i kinda agree with that thinking too, Superman's only real attacks are his eye ray and his freezing breath while Goku has many attacks to chose from hell he can even use solar flare to blind Superman and then mess him up.

Superman has enough force, to have superiority above a man, and Goku is an excellent warrior. Even not having the superior energy of Goku would win at Superman.

Well you forked some things. First superman can't get heart. Even if you put a sword for example right through him. The moment you take it out he will heal back. So even if Goku keeps hitting Superman he will heal right back. Also because Superman was so overpowered in the first comics they tried to make him weaker later on. Even Kryptonite didn't exist in the start. Also i think we should not take into consideration that because we are talking about a fight.
Now the strangest thing of all is that superman can destroy a planet but not with one blow like Goku. On the other hand if you place Goku on a nuclear bomb and blow it up i think he will die. But Superman had a nuclear explosion in his face and nothing happen to him.
In reality nobody wins because the rules of there worlds are different. It's like the physic rules that apply to one world don't apply to the other.

I think Goku would win because I don't see Superman evolve and become stronger like Goku. Goku has gone up to Super Saiyan 4, he has more varieties of attack, and he's a lot faster, I believe.

Goku will win; there is no doubt about it. =) Superman has heat vision in his eyes; you can find lasers anywhere today. Superman can fly, if you have jet pack you can still fly. Superman can blow anyone, or freeze anyone up by his strong breath. If you put a person close to big fan, of course he will blow away by power of fan. These things can happen if you look around on the facts around you. On the other hand, Goku has transformations, this isn’t happened yet *. Goku has Kamehameha; no one has it yet…

So Goku surpasses Superman in every way.

It appears to me that a lot of you are looking at the modern day Superman basing your opinions on stuff like the 2006 Superman Returns movie. And you know what? If we are looking at THAT Superman, then I wholeheartedly agree. Goku would whipe the floor with him.

But the modern Superman is nothing but a shell of what he was 20ish years ago. Pre-Crisis Superman is ridiculous- making today's Superman look like a joke. The difference is as stark as comparing young Goku in DB to SSJ4 Goku in GT. If we are putting Pre-Crisis Superman up against SSJ4 Goku, I give the battle to Supes.

Here are a list of a few of Pre-Crisis (early 1980s) Superman's abilities:
*Super Speed- At this time period, Superman could move FASTER than the speed of light. He could travel to new galaxies and even universes with realative ease. Goku can't move that fast (sure he has Instant Transmission- but that was never a measure of his battle speed- while this is Superman's).
*Super Strenght- Superman could move entire PLANETS with his strength. I've never seen Goku move something that massive.
*Time Travel- Superman can travel in time simply because of how fast he can move.
*Super Intelligence- Superman is a genius far more intelligent than any normal human.
*Telekenesis- Yes, Superman can move crap with his mind- even at a HUGE distance.
*Prescience- Superman can fricking predict the future to a certain extent. Stuff like knowing that a tornado is coming far before any scientific prediction would make people worry.
*Hypnotism- Superman can do Jedi-mind tricks. I'm not making this crap up... This was a canon explanation as to why people didn't obviously recognize that Clark Kent was Supes.
*Invulnerability- The man can pass through the center of the sun unphased, and can even crush a black hole with his bare fist.
*A Crapload of other powers- There were so many ridiculous powers given to Pre-Crisis Superman (sometimes only for one issue) that the multitude of writers couldn't even keep up and remember them all.

Now, I may be mistaken, but I don't think you were putting Goku up against THIS Superman. As I said before, Superman Returns is a whimp, but I want to see if you guys still think Goku can win against this.
