I also think so... but yet because he is a good optimist and loved life: he always smiled... even to the enemies

he gave up to Cell, but it was the considered act. And if a man never not give up in general, he is a fool

true! besides he always tried his best, even at the worse circumstances, he was overall a good person who loved live and enjoyed pushing himself to the limit, hence his appreciation for powerful enemies :D! GO GOKUUU!

I had no idea what you meant when I read the thread title. You worded that very funny, not sure if it actually makes sense. Anyways I like Goku because he can eat a ton and he doesn't take things to seriously and is always up for a challenge.

I think Goku's sweet because he basically can fly, which sums up my life, i always wanted to fly. good times, good times, and he is pretty sweet, i mean he can kill a guy just by pumping up the atmosphere around him.
