Why did Dragon Ball GT suck?

Alright well I hear almost everyday about how GT sucks. I personally completly disagree. Infact I think it is nearly as good as DBZ. But others disagree.

Why is this, I want to know. Please give me your reason.

I've heard things like they had a new company working with them. Apparently that's why the drawing sucked. I thought it was fine. Ha

Another thing is that they powered up some people to much and powered down people to much.

Like when Kid Goku went down to hell to fight Freeza and Cell. He beat them like nothing??? Are you serious, Goku at his full body during the time couldn't beat Cell and tried his hardest with Freeza?

So people I really want to know. Why?

I didn't bother watching Dragonball GT.. but I did catch a few episodes and couldn't bear to see any more.

From my experience:

-animation SUCKED.. it looked OLDER than Dragonball Z..
-Goku being a kid again brought a completely juvenile feeling to the series
-it was too light-hearted.. what made DragonBallz so great was that you could take it seriously
-the bad guys were lame.. this "bebi" or "baby" character wasn't the least bit intimidating.. I remember the days when you were scared shitless for some characters when they battled Freeza.. or the Androids.. or Cell..
-didn't care for any of the music
-SSJ4 looked REDICULOUS..

Those were my observations.. DBGT sucked..

Well I like it. I thought the idea of super 17 was cool and the fact how Goku was trapped in HFIL was cool. And then how Baby absorbed Vegeta was real fun. I thought the look of SSJ4 was exicting. SSJ4 Gogeta is bomb.

no.....not end of discussion i think GT is pretty cool i know it almost word for word in the super 17 saga but you cant say something is cool but sucks that makes like no sense lol just saying

i watched up until super 17 because it felt at that bout they couldn't come up with any more original villians and the and then the dragons came and it didnt feel like there was a limti to gokus power it got kinda crazy with how strong he was.

The reason it sucks is because it was very repetitive and very slow. If it was only one season it may have not come off as bad. Most of the monsters they fought were so predictable on how to beat them and it was just way to simple. They fights were lame and boring. Half the season was just filler. There are flaws and much lacking in action compared to DBZ.
I'm not even going to get into a discussion about this anymore. The only reason this was made was to make some quick cash. GT should have lasted maybe about 13-26 episodes at the most. This has been debated for more then 10 years not and it should have never been made. End of story.
If you like it that's fine. Nothing wrong with liking it. Saying it as good as DBZ though or even the original Dragonball is an instult to the seires itself.

I enjoy watching it because of the major villains. I thought the idea was creative for the shadow dragons. It was partly true, most wishes made were selfish. And they had to do something to show that they were still tough when they get old.

I liked Dragon Ball GT when I look at it as a completely different story. The series did not follow anything that Akira Toriyama set up in the two earlier series (Akira even said that GT did not happen to him). As a sequel to DBZ, it was an awful take on the story of Goku.

I watched it, although I liked it I did not feel the same thing like I did with dbz, it could be because for any kind of advancement would be kind of funny, considering that Goku was already the most powerful of them all so in a way it felt just like repeating dbz
