The good thing is every couple of episodes they have a joke "Filler episode" that just in the slightest way extends the plot so it isnt a filler.

the fillers have identy issues

True. its good to have some bit of comedy off one episode, just to get away from the action for a while.

At that esp, where it shows that Lelouch has alot of happiness moment with his friends. At least, it shows that they have another side of them before they were distanted. Like the party and conversation that they have, in the future when Lelouch fights, those images or memories can help him remember. (As in using those scenes, to create memories)

Yeah all the memories of the good times Lelouch and his friends spent together before they became distant were touchy. If it wasn't for brittannia who broke our war near area 11 and against Japan, then Lelouch could have had more time to spend with his friends.

seeing as he's zero now, he has no choice but to try and defeat brittannia not only for nunnally but also for his friends sake. Just wanting to be all together again without this war happening.

yeah, but then again, if it was a happy anime about the life of Lelouch and all his friends as a slice of life anime, Im not sure I would be as inclined to watch it!!

well, I probably would watch it anyway, but I doubt Id be watching it as an ongoing series, but Id probably watch it... anyway, I like the Knightmare Frame in this series, its a unique mecha that has as much if not more variation than in any other series Ive seen
