hmmm...I was debating on that when I finally finished watching it after two days...and I'd like to think he's dead...I've somewhat accepted that and stopped my mourning when he was stabbed so harshly by his so called "friend"...but it would definitely be an upper if he's alive and a new season of Code Geass will be out and available for us geeks to watch... hmmm...but I guess him dying is enough for the series...I don't think a new season is good for the anime...if there is one, what would the third season be about? explaining how he's alive and him trying to dominate the world again? naaaaah....that'd be too much and it'll just ruin the dramatic end to the series... so....HE'S DEAD...as much as I hate to admit it...

no i don't see a need for them do a 3rd series even if he was alive. he achieved the world he wanted. and he did it for his sister. so he and CC could just live quietly.

From my memory, immortality Charles (LeLouch's father) got was from V.V. in exchange for his geass. Which explained how V.V. could die. Charles didn't necessarily get his immortality on top of the geass. There have been rumors (Source: New Type Magazine) that they have been considering 3rd season (which means there is also enough chance that there won't be) with Lelouch unrelated.

I think he is alive not because I want him to be alive it's just that I think a lot point to it. One thing would be when Nunnaly touched him which according to everything we see in the anime can only happen. Something else would be the Crane at the end of the last ep, he mentions how a geass a similar to a wish to Suzaku which the crane represents the wish and Nunnaly, I would not know why CC would have the Crane o.O. We all saw lelouch get stabbed though so in other words he either somehow got the code from his father which would represent Lelouch is the first the get Code-Geass. But then again I do see a lot of reasons why he would be dead and looks like some people here mentioned the author said he was dead? So meh...well this is all just my 2 cents on this topic =]

I like to think that the dude driving the wagon at the end with the big hood is Lelouch but open ending are supposed to be OPEN you can assume whatever you like =P

I don't think Lelouch is alive. We just saw him dead, it doesn't look anything like him faking it. Second, what's the point of him staying if the world isn't complete? If he was alive, there would still be more hatred. He wanted to die didn't he? To stop all of the hatred and make world peace? Second, people say that it's the guy pulling the wagon or something in the end... Lelouch WOULDN'T pull a wagon you guys.xD Think about it. Lulu is too cool for old wagons lolz. LOL at the Pic.
