I Believe all zero wanted was genuine peace for his sister. i also firmly stand in the fact that zero was not corrupted or had his conviction swayed, it was all part of the grand master plan (SPOILERS) code:Zero Requiem. If we can internalized what happend in the series, it was not an easy thing do, nor was it just some minor thing in the alley, he Lelouch amassed all the hatred in the world and sacrificed himself so that in the end, all hatred which is the cause of wars would vanish.

Well,Zero is doing all that for revenge and I don't think I'd be ok with that reason of his while I admit that he did something good for Area 11 by helping the rebellion.I really liked him at the beginning of the series but then I came to understand that he was just a killer(not all the times) but many times he did sacrifice lives of innocent people.Of course let's not forget that it was war after all,but why I blame Zero is just as I told because he did it for his revenge. Plus that I'll never forgive him for killing Euphemia(she was my favorite after all T_T) even if it was the only way to stop it. At first I liked Suzaku too,I was impressed by his sense of justice and his way of doing things trying not to involve innocent people, but in season two he completely disappointed me cause he turned into a complete other person.Sorry for what I'll say but he acts like a b*tch in season 2. |

it seems that his ideals change about what he is doing the whole take over the world thing. in season 1 he justifies himself by saying it is for Nunally but in the second season he becomes confused and changes it for himself. but (don't want to spoil it for the people who haven't watched the series) in the very end of the second season he works through the ordeal and ends up doing the right thing. setting up the world for eternal peace.

just finished watching ep 22. WoW! this just made zero a complete hypocrite. what Zero/Lelouch did... to Euphy... (unbelievable) he wanted to take revenge on the murderer on his mother and give his younger sister a perfect world, and yet he killed his other sister whom is very close to him and Nunnally. Even if he did ordered Euphy by mistake, he had alrdy plan for her death. he tried so hard to save others like Shirly but just let his true love die. Is revenge for his loved ones worth more the life of the loved still living? His bloodline? he is becoming just like what his father wanted. the weakling shall die. so easily he takes life away and orders his pawns around... so sinister. all his sister want is too be happily 2gether!

Zero is a brilliant image... He sends a message of Freedom and Independence at in the beginning but he evolves obviously... The thing is... He [spoiler] (ps i dunno how to hide the spoiler thingy from people) becomes an instrument of corruption of power, yet... Would the world not be a better place if we all had one ruler as opposed to many... Even if we were all indoctrinated... At least there would be peace and we would be happy |

I have ended the both code geass and code geass r2 and all i can say is that the things zero did were regreted by lelouch when he destroyed something. He caused pain to nunally insted of happiness. Things just did not turn out to his liking.

He was someone that gave japan liberty from britannia. Still, I beleive Lelouch was the main character in Code Geass.

All that matters was he was able to produce results. If he was able to get the results I was looking for than yea I'd follow him. Who cares about what methods he uses.
